Discovering Anatomy:
An afternoon course for Stanford staff

In this three-hour workshop, you will:

  • Learn some anatomy in the context of common clinical problems
  • Glimpse how anatomy is taught at Stanford--through the combined use of human cadaver specimens and cutting edge multimedia resources
  • Discover the latest technologies that Stanford students use to prepare themselves for a future in medicine, including 3-dimensional models, digital diagnostic imaging, and a Virtual Dissection Table
  • See a demonstration of a surgical procedure in the newly renovated Bio Skills lab

Cost: $265
Course is open to Stanford staff. (Enrollment limited to 12.)

Payment options:

  • Check
  • Departmental PTA (Must be an unrestricted PTA; you must provide the name of the financial approver in your Department who has approved its use.)
  • STAP funds (To use STAP funds, pay by check or PTA, and upon completion of the course we will provide you with a completion notice and receipt that you can use to request reimbursement from your home department.)
