Clinical Anatomy In The Department of Surgery

Clinical Anatomy Dissection Workshops

Four-Day Summer Course:
Dissection Workshops for Undergraduate / Pre-Med Students
with prior anatomy experience

We are excited to offer our new Advanced Dissection Workshop Series! Medical students who wish to revisit anatomy with an immersive experience or undergraduate / pre-med students who have completed a basic human anatomy coursework will be ideal candidates for these workshops. Each workshop is a 4-day completely hands-on event comprised of detailed anatomy review and cadaveric dissections. Students will complete daily dissection assignments based on learning objectives for the day and will be taught a variety of dissection techniques. At the end of each day, students will demonstrate their skilled work to their classmates and instructor.

Each workshop fee is $3,000 which covers all cadaveric specimens, supplies, and instruction. Taking additional workshops will qualify for discounted pricing. The second workshop will cost $2,500 and a third will cost $2,000 (discounts apply at the time of purchase). We are offering three workshops in our inaugural series this summer:

1. Head and Neck: July 8-11; 10am-3pm

2. Thorax: July 29-August 1; 10am-3pm

3. Upper/Lower Limb: August 5-8; 10am-3pm

This fee is non-refundable and is required for your application to be complete.

If you have any additional questions you can contact us at anatomy@stanford.edu or (650) 725-6624.

There is no better way to learn anatomy than dissecting and we hope you choose to join us this summer!
